CAMPBELL
Service for Elma Ellis Campbell, 69, is pending at Denton Funeral Home. She died Aug. 28 in the northern part of the state.
Mrs. Campbell was born on Nov. 19, 1919, in Tyrone, N.M., and grew up in the Carlsbad area. She graduated from Carlsbad High School. She and John Mack Campbell were married in 1940 and lived in Capitan for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, John Mack Campbell Jr., Albuquerque; two daughters, Rita Campbell and Nita Taylor , both of Albuquerque; one brother, C.W. Ellis, Midland, Texas; two sisters, Athalie Nelson, Espanola, and Jo Slade, Albuquerque; and seven grandcildren.

Graveside service for Elma Ellis Campbell, 69, is to be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Carlsbad Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Ed Williamson, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Campbell died Aug. 28 in northern New Mexico.
Denton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
