ALBANY, MO---Harry Moran, Jr., 75, Albany, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away December 7, 2010 in Albay.
He was born March 8, 1935 in St. Joseph, son of Telfor H. and Nona (Jacobs) Moran.
On May 12, 1973 he married Patricia Ferguson in St. Joseph. She survives at the home.
Harry was a maintenance employee for the MO Department of Transportation for 31 years. He served in the United States Marine Corp and was a dedicated Chief's fan.
Survivors in addition to his wife are a son, Randy L. (Julia) Moran; daughters, Tammy L. (Robert) Gladstone and Christina L. (Sam) Roberts; step-children, Billy Bibb and Jenny (Shawn) Steidel; 12 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and brothers, Clyde & Kenneth Moran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda K. Moran; brothers, Orris and Robert Moran; and sisters, Eldora Clark & Myrna Bozarth.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 9, at the Roberson Funeral Home in Stanberry. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday at the funeral home where friends may call after 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Mr. Moran will be cremated following the service. Burial in Ashland Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO.
