Funeral services for John A. Douglas, 77, who died Friday will be held this
afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence, 103 Appleby Street, Port Wentworth.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. I. C. Walker, pastor of Port
Wentworth Methodist Church and the Rev. David A. Duck, pastor of Robert
McIntire Methodist Church. Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J. L. Douglas, Harold DesNoyers, Charles DesNoyers, W.
H. Iler, Carlin Zipperer and J. H. Jaudon, Jr.,
Honorary pallbearers will be Hoke Hinely, J. M. Stephens, Dan Newton, Billy
Strozier, Wallace Pierpont, Elmo Curtis, Roy Bonner, Nat H. Cavanah, Homer
Price, O. F. Love, Elmo Douglas, Marvin C. Exley, and A. C. Harrison.
Fox and Weeks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
