Mr. Paul LeRoy Ingram, 69, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, Feb. 19, at his home, 101 Fairview Ave., Frederick.
Born at Dargan, Washington County, Sept. 17, 1911, Mr. Ingram was a son of the late Lawrence LeRoy and Golden Elizabeth Haines Ingram.
Mr. Ingram served in Europe with the 304th Engineer Battalion during World War II. He was employed at Fort Detrick with the Decontamination Engineers for over 28 years, and was a member of the Francis Scott Key Post 11, American Legion.
Surviving are four brothers, Lewis Ingram of Walkersville, James Ingram of Jefferson, Herbert D. Ingram of Hillsboro, Texas, and Lawrence William Ingram of Sykesville; one sister, Mrs. Eva Elizabeth Abrecht, Frederick; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Smith, Fadeley, Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 104 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, from the funeral home. Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
