James Kittle, 93, of Dundas Rt. 1, passed away early this morning at Richland Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness.

Arrangements are pending at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Newton.

Surviving are three sons, Frank of Imlay City, Mich., Charles of Detroit, Mich., and Vern of Dundas, with whom he had made his home the past few years; three Smith of Florissant, Mo., Mrs. Helen Gentile of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Vivian Callahan of Chesterton, Ind.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline, and two sons, Ray and Dallas.

Mr. Kittle was a member of the M. P. Methodist Church ofWayne City.
