Son of Samuel F. and Maude Hile Delaney, he was married, lived at 2 Forest Place, Oil City, died in Oil City Hospital of congestive heart failure, and chronic interstitial nephritis, per death certificate 65627, whose informant was Evaline M. Delaney of the same address. Buried Jul 11 1952 at Grove Hill.

Robert Delaney, 44, of 2 Forest Place, died at 11:05 pm Tuesday in Oil City Hospital after an illness of several months. Son of Samuel F. and Maude Hile Delaney, he was born in East Brady Dec. 18, 1907.

He spent his early life in Franklin, and lived in Warren until moving to Oil City recently. He was a member of the Franklin Lodge, Loyal Order of Moose.

On Oct. 10, 1949 he married Evelyn Vieyra of Oil City, who survives, with a son, Richard Delaney of Renova; and six sisters, Mrs. Virginia Wilson, Cooperstown, Mrs. Ruth Alter, Rocky Grove, Mrs. Helen Palm, Emlenton, Mrs. Zada Hockman, Tippery, Mrs. Eileen Karns, Emlenton, Mrs. Audrey Shields, Rockland. Deceased is a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Kline, who died in 1941.

Services will be at 2 pm Friday. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
