Mrs. Virginia Delaney Wilson, 52, died suddenly of a heart ailment in her Sugarcreek home, Franklin Star Route, at 1:45 am Sunday. She been in her usual health and had retired when she was suddenly stricken ill and died a short time later. She was born June 18, 1904 in East Brady, daughter of Samuel and Maude Hiles Delaney.
She was a member of Seventh Street Church of God.
Sher married William F. Wilson, who survives, with children, Mrs. Frank J. (Maxine) Tologo of Cooperstown RD 1, Airman Second Class Lewis Wilson of Paris, France, Mrs. Gaylord P. (Helen) Boughner of Cooperstown, Pfc. William S. Wilson in an Army engineering unit serving in Weingard, Germany, Miss Shirley Wilson, Ronald F. Wilson and Donald F. Wilson, twins, James L. and Robert G. Wilson, all at home; five sisters and a brother, Mrs. Laverne Alger of Rocky Grove, Mrs. Austin Hockman of Oil City RD 2, Mrs. Lawrence Palm, Mrs. Charles Karns, and Mrs. Edward Shields, all of Rockland, and Richard Delaney of Renovo, PA.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Burger Funeral Home with Rev. H. L. Woods, her pastor, officiating, assisted by student pastor, Francis Park. Interment will be in Cooperstown Cemetery.
