Leora Was born in Wright's Creek, Llano Co., TX. on 15 Jan 1894. She married James Ernest Taylor on 28 Dec 1913 at Lone Grove, Llano Co., TX. From this marriage they had two children ( Ernest Dale and David Leroy Taylor - both deceased). She was a homemaker, member of the Church of Christ where she was a Bible teacher for many years and raised her orphaned niece, Maurine Knight, as her daughter. In the latter years of her life she began to lose her hearing.
