Niram E Whitton, 76, of Kylertown died at the Clearfield Hospital; on Thursday.
He was born July 4 1907 in Kylertown a son of Harvey Lee & Lucinda Mae (Maurer) Whitton. He married the former Maxime Rowles who died Feb 16th. He is survived by one daughter Shirley Thompson of Morrisdale RD, two sons George W of Myrtle Beach SC and Paul N of Allport, 5 grandchildren and one sister Katherine Hubler of Kylertown.
He belonged to the Kylertown UMC Church.
Services will be held in the chapel of Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals Morrisdale. Burial will be in the Kylertown Presbyterian Cemetery.∼The Progress, Clearfield, Pa., Friday, February 24, 1984

Born in Kylertown, July 4, 1907, he was a son of Harvey Lee and Lucinda Mae (Maurer) Whitton.
He was married to the former Maxine Rowles who preceded him in death on Feb. 16, 1984. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one son, one grandson, six sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by three children, Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Thompson, Morrisdale, R.D.; George W. Whitton, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Paul N. Whitton, Allport; five grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Katherine Hubler, Kylertown.
He was a member of the Kylertown United Methodist Church Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Morrisdale, with the Rev. Ronald J. Beistline officiating. Interment will be in Kylertown Presbyterian Cemetery.
Friends will be received in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
