Born at Medford, Wisconsin, on October 18, 1893, Mr. Roeser lived at Gervais for the past 48 years. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include the widow, Marie Ditter Roeser of Gervais; daughters, Mrs. Ruth Elbert of Rainier, and Mrs. Lucille Lovell in California; son, Edward Roeser of Tujunga, California; sisters, Mrs. Jake Schaff in Wisconsin and Mrs. George Prange of Portland; and four grandchildren (Patrick, Chris, Dianne & Janice Elbert.)
Requiem mass was at 9 am Wednesday, July 3, at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Gervais with interment in the church cemetery. The rosary was recited Tuesday evening, July 2, at the Rings Cornwell Funeral Chapel, Woodburn.
