Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Vivian Franks, 64, who died Nov. 24 at Houston Hospital were held Nov. 26 at Parkway Baptist Church. Interment was at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens with the Revs. Ira Bright and James Cannon presiding.

The daughter of J C Nabors and Mamie Viola King, Mrs. Franks was a lifelong resident of Chickasaw County. She was a housewife and a member of the Parkway Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Vester W Franks; one daughter, Mrs. Mamie F Neal of Houston; her stepmother, Mrs. Rena Nabors of Houston; two brothers, Johnny Nabors of Mobile and C K Nabors of Columbus; one sister, Mrs. Delorese Gann of Houston; one half brother, Reginald Nabors of Eupora; two half sisters, Mrs. Ouida Moore of Vallejo, Calif. and Mrs. Linda Thomas of Houston; one stepsister, Mrs. Frances Lister of Lehigh Acres, Fla. and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike Nabors, Mark Nabors, Frankie Thomas, Sonny Gann, C K Nabors, and Hubert Nabors.

Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
