Brooklet - Nora Keel Waters, 87, died early Tuesday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a long illness. The Toombs County native lived in Bulloch County most of her life, was a homemaker and was a member of Brooklet United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Alceone Williams, Brooklet, and Margaret Lanier, Savannah; two sons, Harold Waters and Jimmy Waters, both of Brooklet; one sister, Effie Parker, Denmark; one brother, Oliver Keel, Garden City; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklet City Cemetery.
