Born August 28, 1890, at Kathryn, ND, she had lived at Kathryn and Nome before moving to Enderlin about 45 years ago. She was married to Herbert P. Groth at Enderlin on November 12, 1913. He preceded her in death March 23, 1964.
Three sons and four daughters survive, Stephen, Robert, Herbert, Mrs. Frank (Grace) Egan, and Mrs. John (Alice) Erbstoesser, all of Enderlin; Mrs. Art (Pearl) Arne, Lisbon; and Mrs. Russell (Joyce) Berggren, Williams, MN; a brother, Melvin Brandvold, Kathryn, ND; two sisters, Mrs. Emanuel (Julia) Kolke, Moorhead, MN; Mrs. Albin (Sophia) Benson, St. Cloud, FL; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Enderlin Cemetery.
