Perkins (1846), 1849; the schooner Royal Welcome ; the bark Malina (1857); the barkentine Clara E. McGilvery; the ship C.B. Hazeltine (1869, 1875, 1880); and the brig Stephen Bishop (1878-79).

His mother was Deborah Cushing b 1787.
