Mrs. Alena Joyce Webb, 75, author and wife of Junius Young Webb, state manager of a life insurance company, died Monday at her home in the Stoneleigh.

Native of Columbia, La., Mrs. Webb was the daughter of the late Judge and Mrs. R. D. Bridger. She had been a resident of Dallas for 46 years. She was the author of numerous poems and several novels, including Lure of the Land.

Survived by her husband and three sisters, all of Shreveport.

Services will be Tuesday at the Guardian funeral chapel. Burial in Oakland Cemetery.
