Edna Margaret, wife of Joseph Malott, died at her home ihn the northern part of town Tuesday morning at 6 a.m. , after an illness of but one week of typhoid fever.
Mrs. Malott was the youngest of eleven children born to Samantha and James Hays. She was born June 12, 1895 and was 26 years, 6 months and 14 days old.
She was united in marriage to Joseph Malott, March 19, 1914, and to this union two children were born. Blythe, 6 years of age and Dixie Jean, 3 years old. Beside the family there survives six sisters and one brother, viz: Stella Miley, Ada Arnold, Carrie Miley, Elizabeth Griffey, Maude Mitchell, Allie Arnold and Harvey Hays.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Golden A. Smith at Anderson Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in adjoining cemetery.
