One of the oldest residents in this section of the state, Hans Hanson, 92, passed away at the home of his nephew, Willard Hanson, in Liberty township early Saturday morning. He was a retired farmer and had maintained his residence there for the past 13 years.
The deceased was born in Monroe County, Wisconsin, December 22, 1855 and has been a resident of Minnesota for the past 31 years.
He is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Joe Kabet, Banger, Wisconsin, Mrs. Bessie Beckschebe, Fort Pierce, S.D., and Mrs. Josephine Tosterud, Los Angeles, California; one nephew, Willard Hanson, Liberty township.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Pony Lake church with Rev. L. P. Warford officiating. Interment will be in the Pony Lake cemetery with the ? Funeral Home of Bemidji in charge of arrangements.
