Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jean Cook, Morristown, Tenn.; three sons, Elbert Ray Cox, Baltimore, Md.; Charles Franklin Cox, in Vietnam, and Carl C. Cox, Galax; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lola Lineberry, Galax, and a brother, Lawrence Alderman, Richmond. (A brother, Elbert Carroll Alderman, of Woodlawn, died Sunday, June 2, 1968).
