Mrs. Bertha (Carmack) Moore, wife of Walter Moore, died at their home east of Cora, MO. on Wednesday, Dec 4, 1918, from an attack of Influenza, aged 39 years, 3 months and 11 days. Walter was seriously ill of the same ailment at the time of his wife's death, he also dying the next day, Thursday, Dec 5, 1918.
Mr. and Mrs. Moore were highly respected people, Walter being a son of Austin Moore, and a brother of Mrs. L.E. Harris of this city. They leave a family of children, other relatives and numerous friends to mourn their departure.
The remains of Mrs. Moore were laid to rest in the Baker Cemetery Dec. 5th and her husband was laid beside her two days later.
The heart felt sympathy of the community goes out to the family in their deep trouble.
