MARTIN - Francis Raymond "Sonny" Ruff, 65, Martin, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Martin.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Iva Jo Ruff, and three daughters, Sonya Ruff, Meghan Ruff, and Tara Heathersaw, all of Martin; five grandchildren; and six sisters, Bobbie Pond, Pine Ridge, Lola Lessert, Martin, Billie Black and Vina Bohlin, both of Aberdeen, Jane Harrowa, Reno, Nev., and Emma Hutcheson, Hermosa.
One-night wake services begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Martin CAP Office.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Old American Legion Hall, with traditional Lakota services provided by Jerome LeBeau and Calvin Clifford. Burial will be at the Grace Cemetery.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
