RITES THURSDAY
Funeral services will be held Thursday at Carpenter Funeral Home Chapel for William W. Armstrong, local barber, who died yesterday in a local hospital.
A.W. Burks of the Hillcrest Church of Christ will conduct the service, which will be at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luther Daniel, Vernon Trapp, Roy Dean, John Bowen, Joe Brake and Desley Williams.
Born March 15, 1890, in McDonald County, Mo., Armstrong had lived in Carlsbad eight months. His home was at 304 North Sixth.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. W.W. Armstrong; three sons, B.E. Armstrong, William A. Armstrong and L.B. Armstrong, all of Carlsbad; one brother, Jess Armstrong of Skiatook, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Morris of Kaw City, Okla., and Mrs. Edna Morris of Pamona, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
Masonic services will be conducted at the graveside.
