William Henry Boring was born in Cades Cove. He married Martha LeAnn Abbott and had 13 children. His cause of death was a brain aneurism, at the age of 60 years.

William Henry was listed in his grandfather (Isaac Preston Boring) Bible as the son of his daughter, Mary, and their neighbor, Humes Isaac Farr (# 88277812). His original name is listed as William Henry Farr, but he went by Bill Boring instead.

Humes Isaac Farr had 2 different women pregnant at nearly the same time. This was his second child with Mary. He married the other woman, Sarah Blair, who was also a friend of Mary Boring. The 3 of them remained friends for the rest of their lives.

Mary Emeline married John Blair (perhaps a relative of Sarah Blair - Farr??) while she was pregnant with William Henry, but he was already "gone" before the birth, which was 5 months after the marriage date. This is why some of William Henry Borings family trees mistakenly list his father as John Boring, a person that never existed. The above mentioned Bible never mentions John Blair, but lists the birth of William Henry Farr (Boring).

For these reasons, I have not linked Humes Farr as his father, only mentioned the circumstances.
