She was born February 25, 1915 in Vivian, Louisiana. She was a homemaker and a member of the Family of God.
Mrs. Pickett was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ada Alexander Taylor; her husband, Bill Pickett on May 16, 1997 and a number of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Donald Pickett of Lockesburg and Edward Pickett of Milano, Texas; three daughters, Barbara Bohannon and Judy Thompson both of Lockesburg and Vicki Lawrence of Conroe, Texas; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Pickett will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010 in the Old Center Church with Rev. Ralph Staggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Center Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 3rd at the funeral home.
