Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday in the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home, Benton, with the Rev. Patrick Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allen was born on Aug. 31, 1907, the daughter of Arch and Della Burton Morris. She was married to George Whobrey Allen, who died in 1960.
Mrs. Allen was a decorator for Campbell Furniture until retirement.
She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Benton and was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include, two sons, Sam Arch Allen of North Carolina, James Allen, of West Chicago; two daughters, Barbara Sue Hennings of Findlay, Ohio and Sara M. Wilkinson, Benton; Twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Georgia Wyant of Benton and Nellie Samuels, also of Benton.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson, Christopher Allen Wilkinson.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Benton Organ Fund.
