Services will be held Saturday at 11am in the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home, Benton, with the Rev. Randy Grimmett officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wyant was born on Aug. 12, 1909 in Benton, the daughter of Arch and Della (Burton) Morris. She was married to Raymond (Pee Wee) Wyant. He died Jan 19, 1981.
She was the original owner of the Pee Wee Shop in Benton for several years.
She was a memeber of the First United Methodist Church in Benton. A life member of the Eastern Star, she was very active in the Franklin County Genealogical Society.
Surviving are one daughter, Berta W. Smith and husband Jim, of New Harmony, Indiana; four grandchildren, Renee Rand, Paul Reynolds, Lisa Kenney and Wayne Reynolds, and three great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wyant was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Samuels and Hazel Allen.
