She was born June 3, 1916 in Tallula, the daughter of William and Edith Parson Gilpin.
She married William D. Clark on October 23, 1923 in Glenarm and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2002. Also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Mary was a charter member of Sugar Creek United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Chatham Prairie Quilters.
Surviving are one daughter, Judith Clark of Cypress, CA; three sons, David (Carolyn) Clark of Spirit Lake, IA, Dan (Charlotte) Clark and Jay (Kathy) Clark both of Chatham; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Elma Patrick of Taylorville; several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Cumberland-Sugar Creek Cemetery, Glenarm.
