Albert Brandt age 94, of Hooper, passed away at the Hooper Care Center on Monday June 2 following several years of failing health.

He was born Jan 4 1892 at Hooper and lived in Hooper, Scribner, and Nickerson. In 1983 he moved to the Hooper Care Center. During his career he was a farmer, owned a trucking firm and owned and operated the Hooper Bottling Works from 1926 til 1940.

He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.He was united in marriage to Emma Schultz on Feb 11 1914 at Hooper. She preceeded him in death on Jan 14 1985.Survivors include on son; Roy of Fremont, 3 daughters; Beulah Hall of Fremont, Mrs Clarence (Bonita) Heywood of Hooper, and Mrs Carl (Gladys) Miller of Fremont, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held today, Thursday at 2pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Rev Curtis Benson will officiate. Interment will be in the Hooper Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Church on Thursday from 1230pm until the time of the service. Warne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials are acceptable to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
