On Jan. 7, 1913, he was married to Catherine S. Wagler, who survives. They cele-brated their fiftieth wedding anniversary just two weeks previous to his death. Also sur-viving are 2. daughters (Nancy-Mrs. Dan Leis and Emma-Mrs. Aaron Jantzi), 2 sons (David and Samuel), 18 grandchildren, 3 brothers (John, Jacob, and Aaron), and 4 sisters (Beana-Mrs. Dan Albrecht, Barbara-Mrs. Joel Ropp, Catherine-Mrs. Noah Albrecht, and Chris-tina-Mrs. Valentine Nafziger). One sister and 2 brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of the Riverdale Church, where funeral services were held, in charge of David J. Jantzi and Menno Zehr.
