PETER PETERSON DIES
Peter Peterson of Oasis died at his home Wednesday, January 18th at the very advanced age of ninety-three. Mr. Peterson was born at Slagelse, Denmark, September 28th, 1840 and came to Utah in 1860. He was one of the very old pioneers of the Oasis Deseret section and has lived there continuously. He is survived by seven children; Peter, Will, Amos, Alfred sons and daughters, Mrs. Annie Skeem, Mrs. Hulda Anderson and Mrs. Minnie Stubberd. The funeral services will be held in Oasis Saturday at noon. One by one the old timers pass to their reward and it is with pleasure that we do them honor. Mr. Peterson was one of the builders of his community true in principle, honest, sturdy and well esteemed. He leaves a large posterity.
