Bert Cohee, 91, died in Lesley Nursing Home, Buck Creek, at 12 noon Sunday where he had been a patient since February 13. He was born in Tippecanoe county, near Monroe. He moved to Lafayette in 1945 and prior to that time had lived in Stockwell where he owned and operated a greenhouse and filling station. He was a member of Congress Street Methodist church. He married Kate Sanburn in 1894 and she died in 1949. He had been making his home with a son, Roscoe Cohee, of 721 S. 28th St., Lafayette. Surviving with the son are two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Crose of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ruth Haug of Lafayette; and two sisters, Mrs. Lettie Platt of Stockwell and Mrs. Mary Cooley of Lebanon.
