Mary Ethel Adkinson (1924-2010)

ODESSA, Texas- Mary Ethel Adkinson was born in Lovelady in Houston County June 22, 1924 to Bill and Ethel Adams. She died Nov. 26, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Adkinson in 1978, brother Buford Adams and her son Richard Boswell who passed away Nov. 5, 2006.

She is survived by Kevin Adkinson and wife Debbie of Odessa, step-son, Kelly Adkinson and wife Mary of Saratoga, Ark.; two granddaughters, whom she love dearly, Jennifer and Melissa and husband Chris Hunt of Odessa; three grandsons, Richard Boswell, and wife Jennifer of Dayton, Justin of California, and Rodney and wife Melissa of California and eight great-grandchildren.

Mary was a member of the Church of Christ for over 50 years. She dearly loved the church. She worked as a waitress for many years at Warfield Truck Stop.

Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tanglewood Church of Christ with Don Belk and Jim Dillow officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
