BOILING SPRINGS, SC

Bessie H. Fowler, 94, died Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Magnolia Place. Born January 13, 1916, in Elizabethton, TN, she was the daughter of Curtis Palmer and Cleo Hawkins Holland and widow of John Callie Fowler.

She was retired from Spartan Mills after 15 years of service, a former member of the Eastern Star, Whitney Lodge, and a member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Fowler of Bloomfield, IN; two daughters, Louise Mitchell of Pacolet and Edna Bell of Boiling Springs; a brother, George Holland of Alco, TN; a sister, Ruth Evans of Charlotte, NC; 12 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Andrew Carrigan. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
