Had he lived till June he would have been 90.
His sister, Annie, 96 died in January and a brother, Charles, 78 died in February.
Born on the Brown homestead near Youngsville, he was one of 9 children whose parents, steeled among German speaking people, came from England.
He was a farmer.
At the time of his death he was working on a farm owned by his son, George, with whom he was living, due to the son's illness.
Caught in a rain storm while doing chores he developed pneumonia which resulted in his death.
He leaves one brother - Sidney of Youngsville, the last of the original Brown family, and 3 children - George, Norman, and Beatrice.
Attending the funeral was a nephew, Thomas Brown of Kenoza lake and a great nephew, Jesse Brown of Kenoza Lake and Mr. & Mrs. Harold Royce."
