Mrs. Rickman was born October 17, 1922, in Highland County, the daughter of the late Emory Jackson and Ada Moats Rexrode.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Rickman; six brothers, Curtis, Carl, Ritchell, Elmer, Jesse and Berlie Rexrode; four sisters, Opal Burns, Evelyn Harris, Lillian Brooks and Avis Bosserman. Mrs. Rickman was the last member of her immediate family.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean Jordan and her husband, Jack, of Greenville, Virginia, Margaret Ann Patrick and her husband, David, of Kettering; and six grandchildren, Jill Townsend, Jessica Tillage, Jennifer Luchard, Judy Mullins, Patricia Strawderman, Jaqueline Patrick and Anthony Wayne Keeton.

A service will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2006, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service by the Reverend Charles Mullins. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2006, at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006, at Augusta Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 674 Hillsdale Drive, Suite 1, Charlottesville, Va. 22901.

Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro is serving the family.
