MRS. MARY E. DIX
Mrs. Mary E. Dix, aged 77, passed away last night, after an illness of a week, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. E. Ball. She leaves beside her daughter, one son, T. A. Dix of Conway street, and three grand children, Misses Lorraine and Ruth Dix and Leonard S. Ball, now in France. Funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter, 405 Deerfield street, Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Whitingham, Vt.

From husband's bio: Alvira Mary Allard, of Halifax, daughter of Appelton and Sarah (Fuller) Allard. They were the parents of three children: 1. Truman A., of whom further. 2. Edith, who married Forest E. Ball. 3. Minnie, deceased.
