She was born June 29, 1944, in Elwood, to William R. Barnhart and Mary E. (Etchison) Barnhart. She lived in Summitville all of her lifetime.
Nancy graduated from Summitville High School, Class of 1962.
She had worked at Thompson Consumer Electronics, formerly of Marion, retiring in 2005 after 32 years. She was a member of the Summitville Christian Church. Nancy enjoyed playing Play Station with her grandkids, working crossword puzzles and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patty Ferguson; stepdaughter, Lisa Ladd.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, in the First Christian Church, Summitville, with Pastor Nathan Lutterman officiating.
Friends may call at the church after 10:30 a.m. Friday prior to the services.
