SOUTH BEND - Dorothy E. Taylor, 85, passed away at 2:20 pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in Sanctuary of St. Joseph. Dorothy was born on January 20, 1925 in South Bend to the late Jakob and Mary (Grzeskowiak) Wasowski. On July 4, 1953 she married Harry Taylor, he preceded her in death on October 8, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her son Paul's twin, Thomas Taylor; daughter Karen Taylor, and by her four brothers, Al, Casimir, Leo and Henry.

She is survived by her three sons, Mark Taylor, Paul Taylor and Terry Taylor all of South Bend; three grandchildren, Jeff of Morris, IL, Jeremy (Jasmine) of Terre Haute, IN, and Laura of South Bend; and by her great-grandson, Noah. Dorothy was a secretary for the South Bend School Corporation for many years before retiring in 1985. She was a parishioner of St. Casimir Catholic Church, and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Holy Name Society. She was also a member of the Senior Citizen Association. Dorothy liked sewing and baking and enjoyed bird watching.
