Miss Florence Bates, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Bates died at the family's home near No. 1 last Saturday afternoon, it being her 25th birthday, after a weeks illness of neuralgia. She was first attacked on the Sunday before her death with a pain in her foot. She had suffered with neuralgia all her life.
Deceased was a member of the Christian church of this city and her friends were greatly shocked to hear of her untimely death.
The funeral services and burial took place at the Alexander cemetery Sunday morning at 11 o'clock being conducted by her pastor, Rev. C.W. Harrison.
