At sunrise on the morning of July 17 the grim form of death found its way into the home of Rev. an Mrs. R. B. Chestnut and claimed for its own, Lois A. Edge, 77. She leaves behind her only daughter and a host of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Edge was the wife of Doc Edge who fount in the War Between the States n defense of the South.
Sleep on loved one, peacefully sleep,
Until the Judgement Day.
And then arise and sing the praise,
And to heave sore away.
Oh, let us all prepare to go to that Bright
and Happy Land. For we shall meet our loved one there and walk the glittering strand. Oh, let us all get ready to meet our God above, a land of joy and love.
