Funeral for Truman E. Howell, 69, of 2734 Grand will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Broussard's Mortuary chapel with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. He died 6:40 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospital after an illness.
Howell was a native of DeRidder and a Beaumont resident for more than 40 years. He was a former security guard for Oil City Brass.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Howell; a daughter, Doris Ham of Beaumont; one brother, Thurston R. Howell of Silsbee; and four sisters, Mrs. James A. Redmond, Adrian McDaniel and Zeda Laurent, all of Beaumont, and Mrs. Robert Flickinger of Winnie.
