Dorothy (Disney) Schwensen Berg, 90, of 24 Tabor Crossing, and formerly of Rugby Road, died Wednesday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was a retired secretary for the American Bible Society. Born and schooled in Brooklyn, N.Y., she graduated from the Packer Institute there and lived in Minneapolis, New Haven, Conn., and Puerto Rico before moving to Longmeadow in 1959. She wintered at West Lake, Boca Raton, Fla., for 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and also attended First Church of Christ. She was a past president of the Longmeadow Women's Club and a member of the Springfield Colony Club and the Longmeadow Country Club. Her first husband, E. Herbert Schwensen, died in 1957, and her second husband, Ernest A. Berg, in 1994. She leaves a daughter, Polly S. Wilcox of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; a stepson, Robert Berg of Tokyo, Japan; two stepdaughters, Barbara Vincent of Greenville, Maine, and Joan Roche of New York City; and 13 grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday morning at St. Andrew's Church, with burial in Longmeadow Cemetery . There are no calling hours. Dickinson-Streeter Funeral Home is in charge.
