Well Known Woman of Scircleville is Claimed by Death

Mrs. Thomas (IDA) E. Ploughe, of Scircleville, passed away Saturday night, December 9, 1939, at 9:15 o'clock after an illness of several weeks.

She was the daughter of Asa and Lydia Thurman McKinney.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ellsworth Ploughe, and the following children; Mrs. James (Flava) Halberstadt of Pleasant Mills, Indiana; Mrs. Grover W. (Blanche) Sims of Frankfort, Mrs. Lloyd (Louie) Donnell of Michigantown, and Preston (wife Bessie) Ploughe of near Scircleville. Brothers; James E. McKinney, Harvey Judson McKinney, Albert A. McKinney, of near Scircleville, and Ira Restine McKinney of Frankfort. She is also survived by several grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hills Baptist Church, with burial in the Hills Cemetery. Rev. A. Harmon will officiate.
