The family record and census confirm his birthdate in 1868 as given incorrectly by his third wife, Anna Harris. Robert was divorced from his first wife, prior to the children being grown. He was divorced from his second wife and remarried to Anna Harris. His death record states that he died in Dallas but was buried in Gray's Hill Cemetery in Sherman. A neice reported his burial at West Hill, in the Harris plot. The third wife had once lived in Sherman. We know of no such cemetery as Gray's Hill.
