Obituary:
Bailey Edward White, 78, of Stanley, died on Sunday, Dec. 20, 1998 at Stanley.
He was born on April 15, 1920 in New Market and was a son of the late Edward and Carrie Bailey White.
Mr. White lived in Takoma Park, Md., and the Winchester area most of his life. He was a carpenter and a member of the Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church.
On June 28, 1941, he married the former Clarice C. Blosser, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Gerald Waldo White of New Market, and Keith Edward White of Hagerstown, Md.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at the Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church by Elder Alvin E. Cook. Burial was in the Stanley Advent Cemetery.
