Rev. McCaffree, 86, Brother of Northeast Iowa Residents, Dies
Scottsbluff, Neb. -(UP)-The Rev. Floyd Jefferson McCaffree, 86, a Methodist preacher for 61 years. died at a hospital here Tuesday from shock which followed a fall on an icy sidewalk while walking to church Dec. 19.
Born in Bremer county, Iowa, Mr. McCaffree came to Scottsbluff as a homesteader in 1907. Survivors elude his widow, Rachel Stratton McCaffree. Brothers and sisters include John McCaffree, Cedar Falls, la.; Lestina Sewell, Waverly. Ia.; and C. E. McCaffree, Lake Mills. Ia.

Former Ireton Pastor Dies
Rev. Floyd Jefferson McCaffree, early day pastor of the Ireton Methodist church, passed away in a hospital at Scottsbluff, Neb., Tuesday from shock which followed a fall on an icy sidewalk while walking to church December 19th.
Rev. McCaffree was 86 years of age and bad been a Methodist preacher for 61 years. He was born in Bremer county, Iowa, and was a member of the Northwest Iowa Conference for 28 years before being transferred to the Western Nebraska. Conference in 1907.He is survived by his widow, Rachel Stratton McCaffree, two brothers, John McCaffree of Cedar Falls. Iowa, and C. E. McCaffree of Lake Mills, Iowa, and one sister Mrs. Lestina Sewell of Waverly, Iowa.

Former Ireton Pastor Dies
