Mrs. Georgia A. Herron, 85, of 533 Dreyden road died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday (May 9) in Lighthizer Nursing Home where she had been a patient a month. Death followed a six-month illness.
She was born at Fultonham, July 16, 1879, a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George Weller, and spent most of her life in Zanesville. Her first husband, C. Fred Parker, died in 1937.
Mrs. Herron was a member of Coburn Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Herron whom she married Sept. 10, 1944; a son, Richard J. Parker of 1333 Stansberry avenue; two brothers, Seward Weller of Columbus and Frank Phillips of Springfield; and three grandchildren.
The body was removed to Hillis Funeral Home and will be taken to the family home this evening.
