Manuel Lee Allen, of Winnemucca, NV, formerly of Princeton, died Jun 4, 2004, at his home.

Born Feb 17, 1918, in Toulon to Harvey Thomas Allen and Sally Ann (Thompson) Allen, formerly of LaRue County, KY, he married Joan Sandler. She preceded him death.

He served as a weatherman in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He moved from Princeton to California as a young man. He lived in Orange County, CA, for about 30 years. He was a real estate broker. He and his wife moved to Winnemucca, NV, in 1973. There, he remained an active real estate broker until his death.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary (Frank) Romary of Burlington, VT, and several nieces and nephews.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Julie; three sisters, Pat "Mattie" (Vic) Freeman, Pearl (John) West and Jeanne Rice; and four brothers, Stanley, Floyd (Connie), Glen and George.
