Elida Pulcherie Millet Caillouet, a retired teacher, author and homemaker, died Saturday evening 17 Jan 2004, at Flannery Oaks Guest House, Baton Rouge, Louisiana at age 97 years. She was born 18 Feb 1906 in Lions, Louisiana. She was a resident of Zachary, Louisiana, and a former longtime resident of Baker, Louisiana.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Marilyn and Martin Woolfolk, Zachary, Camille and Peter Gannon, Tucson, Arizona, and Charles Caillouet Jr, PhD, and Nancy Caillouet, Montgomery, Texas; two sisters, Gilberta Millet Champagne and Lillie Millet Cashio. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wax Caillouet Sr; parents, Albert Millet and Honorine Perilloux Millet; sisters, Bertha Millet Ory, Bernadette Millet Jacobs, Honorine Millet Daniels and Odette Millet Sailer; and brothers, Leopold Millet, Edward Millet, Gerard Millet and Donald J Millet Sr, PhD. Services were Tuesday 20 Jan 2004 with the Rev. Fred A Youngs officiating. Interment was in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
