Funeral services were held Jan. 31 for Issac Morris Franks at Macedonia Church. Mr. Franks died at 90 on Jan. 29 at Houston Hospital. Funeral services were conducted by Revs. Bill Feland and James Cannon, and interment was in Macedonia Cemetery.
Mr. Franks was the son of Issac and Nicy Neal Franks. He was a native of this area and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his widow: Mrs. Elizabeth Finn Franks of Houston; two son, Priest Franks of Terrell, Tex. and Vester Franks of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Nichols of Starkville and Mrs. Olivia Brown of Houston; a brother, Johnny of Hughes, Ark.; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Albert Horn, Bunk Griffin, Thomas O Martin, Jake Kendall, Jerry Haimes and Earl Griggs. Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
