Ruth Isbell Holaway, 92, of Arab died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Golden Living Arab.
Mrs. Holaway was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Tennessee to Lifus and Ida Elizabeth Kilpatrick Isbell. She was married to Melvin Holaway, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and member of New Canaan Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister: Sally McElroy of Louisana; sister-in-law: Joyce Isbell; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Clatus and Margaret NeSmith; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and two sisters.
The funeral was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Gober Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clatus NeSmith and the Rev. Bobby Bright officiating. Burial was in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
